Description
Manufacturing bearings of any kind is a very precise and sensitive job. The meanings of 0.001 mm dimensional tolerance and sometimes roughness in many cases creates the difference between a high quality bearing among others. Although the roughness of bearing seat surfaces does not have the same degree of influence on bearing performance as the dimensional, form and running accuracies. However, a desired interference fit is much more accurately obtained the smoother the mating surfaces are. For less critical bearing arrangements relatively large surface roughness is permitted.Using best machinery and high grade alloys according to DIN, assures the quality of our bearings.

Wheel bearings
FIRST GENERATION – Compact wheel bearings
Closed wheel bearings with double row ball bearings and ‘split inner ring’ that ensures that each ball bearing can rotate independently. With this generation, the hub must be purchased and installed separately.
SECOND GENERATION – Wheel bearings with integrated wheel flange
These wheel bearings are also equipped with ball bearings, but contain an integrated wheel flange mounted directly on the wheel and the brake disc. A separate hub is therefore no longer required. Where necessary, these wheel bearings are equipped with an ABS sensor ring.
THIRD GENERATION – Wheel bearings with two integrated flanges
Wheel bearings of the third generation are equipped with two flanges: one for direct mounting on the wheel and the brake disc and one for direct mounting on the suspension. Where applicable, these wheel bearings are equipped with an integrated ABS sensor.
Lubricants and sealants
The lubricant and sealing elements also play a crucial role. To maximize bearing performance, the correct amount of an appropriate lubricant must be present to reduce friction in the bearing and protect it from corrosion.
Sealing elements are important because they keep the lubricant in, and contaminants out, of the bearing cavity. This is particularly important since cleanliness has a profound effect on bearing service life.
