Brake Pads and Discs
Ultra safety
One of the most important parts in a vehicle is the braking system and brake pads. It is so important that brake parts and brake pads are categorized in ULTRA SAFETY parts. Without a proper braking system and function a safe driving is impossible.
Brake pad perfect formula
We understand the importance of friction material in front and rear brake pads. Making the the best friction material compound allows us to find the perfect combination of raw materials from rubber to graphite, generating the safest brake pad performance across all conditions. With this we also match our discs to our pads at its perfect peak performance.
Brake pad production Technologies
Our scorching techniques heat the pads to 600-700 degrees celsius, which helps to reduce bedding-in time and initial fading. Automatic moulding presses allow us to use deep moulding technology, which produces a more consistent density and porosity. This will give drivers that leave the garage with our replacement brake pads fitted to their vehicles more comfortable journeys because it minimises the amount of judder and noise.
Disc brakes with cast iron safety
Because we’re committed to producing the safest and highest quality brake discs, a carefully controlled mixture of raw materials is used to produce the finest grey cast iron. Machining process quality isn’t enough – it has to be the best possible mix from the initial casting for the best end performance quality.
Our exhaustive tests ensure:
- High carbon content (the fluidity allows easier casting and machining, plus a low degree of shrinkage)
- Low melting temperature (1140°C- 1200°C)
- High wear resistance
- High thermal capacity
- High tensile and compressive strength, giving high levels of rigidity
The castings then undertake a variety of stringent tests and controls before being released for machining to ensure the highest levels of safety.
Quality
With all the advanced manufacturing and testing that we do at BURG GERMANY, we can guarantee our parts, but our service is about so much more than that. When you need replacement brake pads and discs you can call on us to provide a product that matches your precise requirements and comes with our specialist knowledge and experience.
AVAILABLE TYPES OF BRAKE PADS:
Noiseless operation
We work hard to eliminate noise and so BURG GERMANY brake pads are fitted with high quality shims that act as a damper between the friction material and the brake caliper. And we use the same metal shim, held in place with special adhesive, that’s used in original equipment. Our friction components are not only tested in our noise vibration harshness laboratories but also on the road – and we keep pushing the technology further.
Standards
All our brake pads meet EUROPEAN STANDARD specifications that other aftermarket brands have to meet. But for BURG GERMANY the testing doesn’t end there.
We go further, adding shear strength testing during production control to ensure that the pad stays effective at any time. In short, BURG GERMANY brake pads are tested to the extreme, both in the lab during production and on the road, just like original equipment pads, to meet industry standards. Then we test them harder, so that they meet our standards.
